The biggest annual float party happening at Tices Shoal, NJ every summer!

 

It's no secret that unique floats are a "thing" now. First there were swans, then there were pizza slices, now there's a float for EVERYTHING!

 

Floats & Boats is simple, bring your REALLY COOL floats to Tices Shoal and hang with us for the weekend! We gather every year in the the bay (usually just south of the stairs) at Tices to bring together the coolest float party Tices has ever seen. Invite your friends, parents and dogs but make sure they don't come floatless!

 

* P.S. No basic floats and we do not promote the consumption of alcohol.

 

*This event is only able to be accessed by water. In the past, Island Beach State Park did not allow folks to park their cars and come over to the bay side. We expect it will be the same situation this year so we cannot encourage parking there. The only way to attend is by finding some form of water craft to float on over in!

By participating in the Floats and Boats event ("the Event") organized by Float Enterprises, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk: The Event takes place at Tices Shoal in the Barnegat Bay in New Jersey and involves water, boating and floating activities. Participation in these activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, property damage, and even death. By attending the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the activities.

 

2. Personal Responsibility: Participants are solely responsible for their own safety and well-being during the Event. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring they possess the necessary skills, experience, and physical fitness to engage in the activities. Participants must also comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to boating and water safety.

 

3. Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Float Enterprises LLC , its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any claims, demands, actions, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or any other loss or harm suffered by participants or their belongings.

 

4. Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Float Enterprises LLC, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Event.

 

5. Safety Guidelines: Participants are expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Float Enterprises, LLC and any relevant authorities. Failure to do so may result in removal from the Event without refund.

 

6. Photography and Media: By attending the Event, participants grant  Float Enterprises, LLC the right to use any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the Event or tagged on Instagram with for promotional purposes without compensation.

 

7. Severability: If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
